I love my 2018 long-range, dual-motor Tesla model 3. It’s zippy like a sports car and sips energy like a hypermiling econobox. Or does it? While I buy kilo-Watt hours (kWh) from the power company, my car’s energy gauge shows me percent of battery or ‘rated miles’. I noticed the rated miles go much faster than the actual miles.
